For laptops, if you are running a full-screen application on relatively low battery, when the low battery warnings pop up you may not see them at the same time, the keyboard may become unresponsive. Low batteries can affect the functionality of laptop keyboards via some indirect circumstances, and wireless desktop keyboards. This kind of problem breaks down primarily into four areas: Low Battery, Physical Damage, Driver and Software issues, and Firmware Issues. Like for example I press the play button and it goes to expose, or I press the volume button and it goes to the desktop. This is not a common problem, but when it happens, either some or all keys stop working (depending on the situation), or features of the keyboard such as backlighting may not work.Īpple Discussion poster " rikardo Burciaga" writes: "I am having trouble with the keyboard but only with some keys.

The reason why i am saying all this is cuz i want your help in bringing awareness to the company and others how i was treated and how my newly purchased laptop was serviced by msi service center. For various reasons, keyboards on both laptops and desktops may suddenly stop functioning properly. my current issues are, scratched paint on the new panel on both the left and right side of the laptop, track pad is totally messed up, some parts of the track pad is poped out and some are in, its not evenly situated, screw on the back left side under the hing is not getting in rightly, i asked the repair person why this happend and he said he couldnt do anything as the placement inside is changed somehow, there seems to be a noticeable bulge right next to the track pad. I have never experienced any service like this from other brands. 1st of all i would like to explain how the customer care service went, IT WAS TERRIBLE. Unfortunately now i have more problems than before. Yesterday I drove 6 hrs one way to my nearest MSI service center to fix my keyboard (my enter key was broken), after changing the enter top keyboard housing the keyboard issue was solved.
